About Atty. Margaret Dimaala

Atty. Margaret Jaballas Dimaala is a lawyer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in law, sociology, ministry, immigration, and technology.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Quezon City, and later obtained her Law degree from Philippine Law School, Pasay City. She also completed her law review at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) College of Law, further strengthening her legal foundation.

During her formative years, she actively served the Metro Manila Christian Youth Fellowship – Churches of Christ as Treasurer, and was molded through the Christian Education Department in Baclaran Church of Christ. She was also an active member of the UP Kamangyan Organization of Mindorenos in UP Diliman.

Before becoming a lawyer, and while pursuing her law studies, she worked as a Virtual Paralegal to an immigration lawyer in Glendale, California, USA, and later as a Virtual Legal Assistant to a Justice of the Peace & Migration Agent in Australia, where she gained hands-on experience in immigration and migration processes through the use of digital case management systems. She was also exposed to the insurance industry in the United States, which familiarized her with insurance contracts and policy interpretation.

These early experiences built her foundation in legal processes, contract analysis, and the use of digital case management tools, shaping her career in law and technology-driven services.

She served as a corporate secretary and Legal Head of an international trading corporation, where she provided corporate legal guidance and compliance support. After transferring to Oriental Mindoro, she became a Notary Public and a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Oriental Mindoro Chapter.

As a U.S. military spouse, she was able to access scholarships that allowed her to pursue specialized training as a Cybersecurity Analyst. She continues to pursue advanced learning in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, focusing on Cybersecurity Law, Real Estate, and Remote Online Notarizations (RON), integrating her legal background with modern digital and business practices.

With her unique blend of legal knowledge, corporate experience, faith-based service, and commitment to lifelong learning, Atty. Margaret Dimaala bridges the Philippines and the U.S. in both law and community service.
